Analysis Software AED 8001 – AcoustiCalc® for Systems of Mufflers

The muffler software AcoustiCalc® Silencer is a powerful tool for the acoustic design of single elements and complex systems of silencers and mufflers by simulating the insertion loss and the transmission loss.

The working principle of the simulation software for silencers is based on the analytical description of the specific elements of ducts and mufflers as quadrupoles according to linear network theory. All models correspond to the current state of the art and were additionally optimized by us by means of numerical simulations.

By concatenation of the single elements, the acoustic behavior of arbitrary and complete systems of mufflers can be calculated easily and fast with respect to defined operational conditions.

Acoustic Consultancy and Design
