RL-C25: Vibration Control and Data Acquisition System
RL-C25: Vibration Control and Data Acquisition System
RL-C25 comes with a full set of vibration and acoustic measurements and supports various sensor types. Advanced highly accurate vibration control and data acquisition system designed for multichannel applications.
Two advanced software packages – TestUP and VisAnalyser – power the system to fulfill the vibration control and data acquisition functionality.
RL-C25 provides extensive capabilities of data acquisition and analysis using a powerful software tool VisAnalyser. Sources of signals for analysis can be different: data can come from DAQ-devices in real-time or from a recording. It is possible to analyze data acquired with RULA-devices or imported from other acquisition systems.
Scalable architecture allows the user to expand the system up to 512 channels in a synchronized data acquisition set.

Features
Scalability
It is possible to stack a number of controllers to obtain up to 512 channels to provide synchronous acquisition, storage and analysis of data from different sensor types. The device can work as a desktop block or be mounted in the rack.
Multishaker Test Support
RL-C25 system can control vibration shakers with up to 6 degrees of freedom. The system feedback control algorithm is based on computation of transfer-function matrix. This approach enables controlling vibration as well as rotation.
Flexible Configuration
The hardware architecture of RL-C25 allows using different interchangeable measurement units, so the configuration of the system can be easily customized to user requirements. The input modules are general purpose voltage and charge DAQ boards or strain gauge boards. Strain gauge input modules support full, half or quarter strain bridge configuration, as well as other Wheatstone-bridge
sensors.
– Each RL-C25 controller has 3 slots for adding analog input/output boards. There are 8 inputs on each analog input board and 4 outputs on each analog output board, and they can be combined in the controller in different combinations

Technical FAQ
The device won’t load. What do I do?
If, after pressing the power button, the green LED does not light, connect the device to the AC/DC-adapter from the delivery set and try again in 15-20 minutes.
During start-up the signal from the sensor is “too great/small”.
First of all, check the correctness of the sensor type settings (IEPE, charge or linear) in TestUp software, and the sensor sensitivity. If the problem is still there – no signal, or it is too small, check the integrity of the sensor cable. If the problem has not been solved, check the IEPE power current (in case it is an IEPE sensor) or connect the sensor to a different channel.
There is high noise level on the shaker caused by the product, which is operating on it outside the test range. How do I not take this noise into consideration during control?
If it is Sine test, you should set the “Synchronous detector” control algorithm for the control channel. In case of Random test, select the “in task spectrum” parameter from the drop-down menu “RMS is calculated in…” of the “Control” tab.
Can any problems occur if an antivirus is installed on my PC?
We do not recommend using anti-virus programmes on your PC when working with RL-C21 or RL-C25. As the PC communicates with the devices through the network, the antivirus software may sometimes block data transfer. In case the antivirus software is installed and cannot be deleted, we recommend adding TestUp and the folder, to which it is installed, to the list of antivirus exceptions, or disable the protection.
Are the settings of channels and shakers, which I specify, saved?
The settings are saved to dedicated databases, and, having specified them once, you are able to use them in all tests.
TestUp does not see the device. There is a message saying that the device has not been found.
Check the connection of the Ethernet cable to the device and PC. Check if the device is loading. Another thing to check in case TestUp does not see the device is whether Windows Firewall is enabled and whether there is an antivirus installed. They should be disabled.
